The Head of EUAM, Antti Hartikainen, travelled to Kropyvnytskyi this week to track progress of the ongoing regional police pilot project aimed at re-structuring and optimization of police functions in Kirovohrad region, in line with EU best practices. Mr Hartikainen visited the regional Police Training Centre, where EUAM has also been active, and met with civil society groups that have taken part in police-civil society dialogue platforms created by EUAM. He also handed over forensic kits, photo cameras with special lights, as well as laptops and printers worth over €20,000 to assist police with crime-scene investigation.
