IAG Statement on approval of the Draft Law on the Security Service of Ukraine

The International Advisory Group welcomes the approval of the Draft Law on the Security Service of Ukraine in a repeated first reading, which marks a positive step toward the reform of the Service. We hope further work on the draft law will help align it even closer with European and Euro-Atlantic principles and best practices and we look forward to further supporting the work of the Verkhovna Rada in achieving this goal.
The International Advisory Group is comprised of the EU Advisory Mission, EU Delegation, United States Embassy, and NATO Representation to Ukraine.
