Coordination and cooperation meeting of EUAM with EU Member States embassies

On April 9th 2015 EUAM gave a start for planned series of meetings with EU Member States embassies’ Civilian Security Sector cooperation representatives.

The meeting, which took place in EUAM headquarters, is in line with one of the Mission’s operation lines, which is coordination and cooperation with all EU and other international actors in Ukraine in order to enhance synergies and assistance in the field of Civilian Security Sector Reforms.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of Mission (DHoM) Mr. Hugues Fantou and was attended by 18 EU Member States embassies’ Civilian Security Sector cooperation representatives. DHoM gave a short overview on Mission. “EUAM is a possibility for Ukraine to access the expertise of 28 Member States. Identifying the needs of our Ukrainian partners to reform the Civilian Security Sector and capacity building is very important”, said Fantou. All participants have expressed their interest to have such meetings on regular basis.
