EUAM staff advocate for equality and tolerance at Equality March
June 23, 2019EUAM staff members, including Acting Head of Mission, Fredrik Wesslau, today joined an estimated 8,000 people on the streets of Kyiv to advocate for greater equality and tolerance, as part of the 2019 Kyiv Pride march. EUAM public-order experts were stationed at strategic points along the route, and they were glad to report that the small number of counter demonstrators were well managed by law-enforcement officials and failed to spoil the festive atmosphere
