First Aid Training for Police Officers from Liberated Areas
January 30, 2025
Last week, police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions took part in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training in Dnipro, organised by the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine in partnership with “All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council and Emergency Medicine”.
Operating in war-affected areas, these officers face life-threatening situations daily – evacuating civilians, responding to emergencies, and working near the frontline. This training equips them with essential medical skills to provide immediate aid in critical moments, protecting both themselves and those they serve.
Beyond individual training, these officers will now cascade their knowledge to colleagues across their regions, ensuring more first responders are prepared to act swiftly when lives are at stake.
In a war-torn environment, practical skills save lives. EUAM remains committed to supporting Ukraine, strengthening the capabilities of those who protect their communities under the most challenging conditions.
