EUAM trains more than 150 police officers in combating domestic violence

EUAM and NPU experts carried a final seminar out of 10 training sessions on prevention and combating domestic violence for the Patrol Police Department of NPU in Lviv on 25 – 27 May 2021.
The topics of the training covered international standards, best practices, examples from EU countries, theory of domestic violence, as well as practical skills in putting together the materials for the cases of DV, and practicingv the scenarios in the interactive training rooms of regional police centres which were equipped by EUAM. The training brought together participants from all regions of Ukraine. It is crucial for Patrol Police officers, as they were tasked last year to officially engage with preventing and combating domestic violence on an all-Ukraine level.
