EUAM COVID-19 support to Border Guards in Odesa region

The European Union Advisory Mission reached out to its partners in Odesa with equipment donations designed to assist them in dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Odesa Border Guards received gloves, FFP3/FFP2 respirators, thermometers, and disinfectant-sanitizers today. The donation is the latest part of a EUAM assistance package and is worth approximately €6,000.

The agencies of the Civilian Security Sector in Ukraine are among the first-responders who cannot avoid physical contact with citizens, and are thus exposed to potential infection while policing, protecting the border, maintaining public order or carrying out other indispensable duties.
