EUAM’s practical support to the civilian security sector in Donetsk region
April 30, 2021This week, the EU Advisory Mission (EUAM)’s field office in Mariupol organised various donations in Donetsk region to enhance the operational capacities of its local counterparts. The National Police of Ukraine (NPU) first received IT equipment, basic furniture and office appliances for the tourist police stations located along the Azov Sea coast, in Mariupol, Bilosarayska Kosa and Urzuf, and Sviatohirsk. This equipment is intended to support their capacity building needs for tourism-oriented policing in the region.
In addition to this, EUAM also donated computer equipment for the Court Security Service in Druzhkivka. This donation will help our counterpart’s staff to better cooperate with EUAM advisers with more online work meetings and training sessions.
