As Eurovision approaches, Ukraine’s border guards and customs officials receive human rights and cultural awareness training from EUAM
At Kyiv’s Zhuliany airport, where Ukrainian border guards and customs officials are already greeting a large influx of visitors for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, the EU Advisory Mission Ukraine delivered yesterday the last of three one-day training sessions on human rights and cultural awareness.
EUAM organised a study visit to Latvia last week for a delegation of senior Ukrainian prosecutors and representatives of the National Academy of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine. EUAM has been providing advice to the Ukrainian prosecution system to develop a new framework to evaluate the performance of prosecutors and the aim of the trip was familiarise participants with the system used in Latvia.
